Did they have some fun or what?Nancy Sinatra & Lee Hazelwood(pic.left)sang songs about “Summer Wine” and “Velvet Mornings”-one of my favourite albums of all time and then ‘she is a chip off the old block’-Frank Sinatra & Barbra Streisand(pic.right)sang up a storm too!!!Duets that work are about the artiste’s chemistry and the arrangements and taking some risk-when they work they are just remarkable as today’s program shows.Marc Cohn & India Arie,Danny Kaye & Louis Armstrong,Bing Crosby & Grace Kelly,Chris Botti & Renee Olstead are just some of the great contributors today.And lets hope that the words of ‘Hine Ma Tov‘-“Behold,how good and how pleasant it is is for brothers to dwell together in unity’ is a message that is embraced by everybody,everywhere in the coming year.
