ANIMAL WELFARE LEAGUE NSW ADOPTION DRIVE
One of Animal Welfare League NSW (AWL) key events during ‘Save a Life in September’ is their annual CBD Adoption Drive, this year taking place at Wynyard Park.
On the day, city workers will be able to meet a range of shelter dogs and visit a marquee showcasing the cause and ways people can get involved. They will be handing out Foster Carer and Volunteer information and will have cute plush cats and dogs available for virtual ‘adoption’, for those unable to take the real thing home.

R U OK? CONVERSATION BALL PIT
Watch as two strangers get comfy in a pit of yellow and black balls and start a conversation about some of life’s questions. Some will be awkward, some funny and others heartwarming but every conversation counts.
R U OK? Ambassadors will be joined by other familiar faces throughout the day to take a seat in the ball pit and strike up a conversation with members of the public. It is a reminder for everyone to ask ‘are you ok?’ to family or friends who may be struggling with life.
