A Taste Of Honey September 19 2013
Next year marks the 5oth anniversary of The Beatles touring Australia.Given this fact and that despite the short term they wrote songs together – 1962-69 a period of only seven years,John Lennon and Paul McCartney are one of the best known and most successful musical collaboration teams of all time.Their versions and their songs re-imagined by some of the 20th century’s top artistes feature today.By no means is this the comprehensive playlist but a miniscule picture of a cultural and musical legacy that will be with us for all time-the number of different versions recorded of their legacy will allow future programmes or parts thereof. We all have our favourites(I presume) and here are some of mine with a couple of double ups of songs that I could not bring myself to exclude -enjoy the music!
