Sydneysiders will be invited to air their laundry in public across the city this spring for Art & About Sydney 2013.
This year’s festival, which has the theme “private lives… public places”, will also feature gigantic neon snails, an illuminated maze of mirrors and a playful tribute to the humble pedestrian icon.
From the 20th September to the 20th October, an extraordinary line-up of international and Australian artists will transform Sydney’s streets, squares, parks and other unusual spaces with projects that encourage art lovers to go public with their secrets.

Metro Screen

Ben Panucci Trio (Album Launch) with Elana Stone

Kids Xpress Open House Exhibition
What: Exhibition of works created by children

Expressive therapy centre, KidsXpress, will open its doors to the public for the first time, hosting an exhibition of works created by children who have completed its acclaimed program.
KidsXpress is a not-for-profit organisation that harnesses the power of expressive therapies to transform the lives of trauma-affected children by helping them communicate through music, art and drama. Artworks from 21 children that have completed the KidsXpress program will be on show.
The exhibition also features an exclusively commissioned work by 6 year old international artist, Aelita Andre.
