17th Japanese Film Festival

 

The Sydney leg of the 17th Japanese Film Festival opens next Thursday 14 November at Event Cinemas, George Street, running until Sunday 24 November.

Watch Japan unfold with 2013’s program of impressive titles, with exclusive special guests including Actress Kaoru YachigusaDirector Yoshihiro Fukagawa along with ‘so hot right now’ cultural ambassador, Western Wanderers soccer ace, Shinji Ono. He will be in attendance for the Opening Night film The Great Passage  at 7.30pm to officially open the festivities. Kaoru Yachigusa and award wining Director Yoshihiro Fukagawa will be in attendance for Don’t Lose Heart with Q+A Session to follow, faciliated by Film Critic Russell Edwards on Saturday 23 November at 2pm.

Our very own Australian Associate Producer Ken Isaacs will attend the screening of Blindly Love  to give an introduction to the film and talk about his role in producing it on Saturday 16 November at 2pm.
