First guest this morning is linguist Jason Johnston, making a welcome return to Arts Wednesday, this time talking about those noises we make, like “huh” or “duh”. What are they and what function do they fill in our language?

At 11:00 am I will be please to play an interview I recorded with Rodger Watson, who is the Deputy Director of the Designing Out Crime unit at UTS. The interesting thing about the unit is that crime prevention is located in the design school and Rodger tells us about some of the interesting projects the unit has worked on.
