First Ancestral Indigenous World Festival 2013
Make sure to join the very first Ancestral Indigenous World Festival at the Addison Road Community Centre Marrickville on Saturday 30th November 2013 from 10am to 5pm.
Spend a day full of culture, including music and dance from Australia and all around the world, food from Guatemala, Brazil and Bolivia, documentary film screenings, as well as drumming, craft & Dance workshops.
Everyone is welcome from toddlers to grandads.

2:30pm “Karifi” rhythms from Ghana
3:10pm Tarpuy Bolivians singing in the Quechua language
3:35pm Glyer reggae artist (Sierra Leone)
4:10pm Apura Pela, Guarifuna influenced percussionists (Guatemala & Colombia)
Plus lots of interesting talks at the Maya’s Hut, art exhibitions and special kids workshops and performances.
