REELise Film Festival is open for business

Unspoken Feelings

The new short film festival for teenage filmmakers is underway.

Entries for the REELise Film Festival opened on 1 December 2013 and will close on 14 February 2014.

Entry is FREE and is open to young people aged 12-18 years or in Years 7-12 at School.

All the details can be found at https://www.reelise.org.au

To be eligible for consideration as a REElise Film Festival finalist and potential award winner, you must submit an Entry Form and your film must meet the REELise Entry Guidelines. Key requirements are that your film is captured on a mobile phone and addresses the theme “Unspoken Feelings”.

At the discretion of REELise Inc., films submitted will be shown online and premiered on the big screen at the REELise Film Festival in March 2014.

Young filmmakers and their crew members will be vying to win great prizes, including prizes for:

Best Film – Junior
Best Film – Senior
People’s Choice

Competition prizes range from Canon PowerShot Digital Cameras (a G1X Digital Camera valued at $720; a G15 Digital Camera valued at $520 and an S110 Digital Camera valued at $429) to industry experiences including an internship with Ministry of Sound and an “insider” three day production house experience with Matchbox Pictures. All entrants receive a certificate of recognition.

You still have seven weeks to get an entry in, and grab the chance to show what you can do, and have your voice heard.
