International sensation Antonio Serrano is bringing his sensual Spanish album “Harmonious” to Sydney’s live music scene this April. “Harmonious” is Serrano’s seventh album and presents its listeners with an effortless collection of performance’s spanning over genre’s such as Classical, Jazz, Blues, right the way through to Pop, World and Flamenco. Dubbed the greatest harmonica player of his generation, Antonio Serrano astonishes audience’s globally as a one man band, bringing to the stage an intimate musical depiction of unique narratives tied to each individual piece adding a third dimension to the live experience.

”In his show there is humor and tenderness, self-confidence and spontaneity, its obvious that the artist is a jazz musician. His fan club, filling the room, applauded wildly. He ends with the star number of the evening, firing up with “Georgia On My Mind”, which merges into “What a Wonderful World”, the Louis Armstrong song, and there is more than one person who sheds a tear.” – Chema Garcia Martinez, Jazz y Otras Hierbas

Serrano’s signature harmonica styling’s began developing at the tender age of 7 as a teaching that was passed down from father to son. As he progress he gained Harmonica virtuoso Larry Adler as a mentor who remained his close friend and idol and also had the pleasure of performing with many times throughout his career. When bearing witness to Serrano’s performances, it is clear that you are in the presence of a true musical maestro. Serrano understands how to delicately intertwine musical genres represented in his eclectic repertoire. Antonio simultaneously accompanies himself on the piano and looping pedals as he explores his own unique arrangements of melodies from film themes to folk melodies, Bach to Bacharach, as well as his own original compositions.
