Facebook is Dead. Long live Social Media

_This is your intermediate social media workshop course. _

The word on the street is that Facebook is all about the money, which spells the end of anyone who isn’t willing to pay for their advertising schemes. Couple that with less and less people using Facebook on a regular basis and more people leaving the platform and discovering other avenues, it’s time for Facebook to roll over and let in the new guard.

Social media is much more than Facebook. Being able to determine which social media excites you, what kinds of social media your audience listens to and which ones will help you with branding, customer service and community are all paramount to making your venture into social media a success.

Join Unashamedly Creative and Brook McCarthy of Yoga Reach for a day’s workshop that explores the kinds of social media that can work best for you and your business endeavours.

Objective:

THE AIM OF THIS SOCIAL MEDIA WORKSHOP IS TO HELP YOU:

< Better understand social media and what channels are available to you

< Explore the available social media options outside of Facebook

< Take a deep dive into the world of Twitter, Instagram, Google + and Pinterest

< Identify what social media channels match your interest and your intended audience

< Learn how to save money, time and resources through scheduling

< Measure how your social media is working, and what to do if it isn’t

This social media workshop is for you if:

< You are keen on knowing more about social media but have not clicked with Facebook

< You want to move towards a social media strategy as opposed to simply “having social media”

< You’d like to understand the other social media choices available to you without having to spend a lot of time doing research
