Beautiful jazz-influenced acoustic sounds flow from this eleven track album that showcases Louise’s gorgeous songwriting at it’s finest. With the lyrics the shining beacon at the centre of this album, she manages to skim over a variety of emotions centred around the notion of love, both lost and gained.

From the beginning to the centre of the album, the soft and melodic tunes of ‘How To Love’, ‘Burn The Rain’ and ‘Red To Blue’ allow for a contemplative listen, with the tender vocals and gentle compositions soothing as they wash over you. Hitting track six and track seven, the scope shifts to a faster pace. Taking influence from jazz and a tango vibe, with the track ‘Metamorphosis’ posing a catchy and subtle rhythm. On the end note of Alibi, the subject changes to facing issues of today, talking corporations, governments and the state of the world as we know it.
