Flautist, Jane Rutter with Eastside’s Arts Margaux Dombkins on Arts Monday

Eiffel tower ehind.My first guest: Renowned Flautist, Jane Rutter chats about ‘La Revolution: A Bastille Day Concert’ she is presenting at City Recital Hall on 14 July.

Widely celebrated as one of Australia’s premiere flautists, Jane Rutter is acclaimed as a world-leading example of French flute playing.

Throughout her career, Jane continually draws fans from many fields as she successfully crosses from classical, to pop, to jazz.

The special program for Bastille Day features some of Australia’s best-loved classical musicians, including distinguished soprano, Yvonne Kenny, virtuoso accordionist, Marcello Maio, and outstanding baritone, Andrew Jones.

A musical journey to the heart of Paris, ‘La Revolution’ features accompaniment by renowned instrumentalists: harpist, Owen Torr, and pianist, Vincent Colagiuri.
