Beams Festival – shining lights into Chippendale’s nooks and crannies

The last few years have seen a variety of exciting new businesses move into the laneways of Chippendale and this weekend is your opportunity to check out this vibrant community when they come out to play with Beams Festival. Last year’s inaugural festival was a fantastic success with entertainment for adults and kids, packed into Balfour Street and its surrounds. This is one festival that successfully manages to be both family and adult friendly.

The kids will get plenty of opportunities to explore their creative side, with craft tables and workshops on offer throughout the evening.

For the adults, check out the luxe food and drinks trucks, with food from Sydney’s hottest eatery Ester, amongst others, being on offer. There will be street long sharing tables, so no problems finding somewhere to sit down to eat your grub, then go find somewhere to chill and enjoy the roving entertainment and live music performances and some of the spectacular light installations down the side streets.
