Los Crema Paraiso @ The Basement for Sounds of Primavera

Sydney is getting a taste of contemporary Latin sounds when Sounds of Primavera come to town in October.

To kick things off, The Basement is presenting Los Crema Paraiso featuring Sudamerican Rockers, DJ Bobby Brazuka and Tropicante Sound Sistema.

LCP

LCP consist of the powerful Latin musicians Neil Ochoa (Si Se), José Luis Pardo (Los Amigos Invisibles) and Alvaro Benavides (Pedrito Martinez Group). Their sensational sound brings traditional Venezuelan music into jazz, rock, funk and electronica to create a modern style of Latin music.

LCP cite a wide range of influences such as Aldemaro Romero, Noel Petro, Tom Jobim, Medeski, Martin and Wood, Pink Floyd, Freddy Reyna and The Police.

Their soul purpose for their energetic concert is to have their audience captivated by their unique style and have them dancing to music they’ve never danced to before!

LCP will be joined by the Sudamerican Rockers (a Sydney Latin rock group), DJ Bobby Brazuka from Brazil and Tropicante Sound Sistema.

The Sudamerican Rockers are apart of Sydney’s vibrant Latin alternative scene who take the sounds of South American rock legends such as Manu Chao and Jorge Ben to transport their audience to a place that mimics the underground music scene from Mexico, Argentina, Columbia and Brazil with their modern fusions of rock, samba and reggae.

DJ Bobby Brazuka is one part of Latin-funk soul and hip-hop act Latinaotearoa, but this time he’s bringing his own NZ flavour to the table with a brilliant set of Latin music that features snippets of both Brazil and NZ.

Tickets are $20 on Moshtix, $30 at the Door.

When: Friday, 10th of October 2014

 Doors open 8:00pm
