Manly Jazz Festival (Friday 26 September – Monday 6 October 2014)
From its humble beginnings 37 years ago, this year’s festival will run for an incredible 11 days and nights including performances in some of Manly’s favourite live music venues as well as the popular open air stages.
Jazz is at the core of almost all modern music so Manly Jazz aims to celebrate many music styles while still cherishing the purist forms of jazz from which this festival was born. So even if jazz isn’t your thing, you’re bound to find something that appeals.
This year Terell Stafford will be performing direct from the jazz clubs of New York in his only Australian performances. Along with artists from Japan and New Caledonia there is a host of local talent ready to get you grooving.
