Sounds Of Soul Chronicles: Going National
Once a year the Northern Soul brothers and sisters descend on a different capitol city of this fine country to celebrate the National Northern Soul weekender for 3 days of non stop dancing to the sets of Australia’s A-list Rare Soul DJs. This year it’s Brisbane’s turn to host the so called “Nash” and it looks already to be another massive weekend setting a new standard with hundreds of Soulies traveling from interstate and from abroad. I’ve got the great honour to play the very last set on Sunday to wrap up the weekender accordingly with some storming Northern Soul, marking the handover to next years host city as one of the representatives of Sydney. I can’t wait to catch up with the faithful, listening to the amazing selections and do a few rounds on the dance floor as well. For the ones that can’t join in the fun I’ve prerecorded a edition of Sounds Of Soul which will air at the usual time on Eastside Radio. Fun times ahead indeed.
