My guest: Cirque du Soleil veteran performer, Alevtyna Titarenko chats about her Rings Trio act, her role as dance captain in TOTEM and her life as a performer with Cirque du Soleil.

Alevtyna, a World Champion Acrobat and World Fitness Champion, has been with Cirque du Soleil for 17 years.

 TOTEM is a fascinating journey into the evolution of mankind – it traces humankind`s incredible journey – from our original  amphibian state to our ultimate quest for flight. Along the way, it also explores our dreams and infinite potential, and the ties that bind us both to our origins and to the species that share the planet with us.

TOTEM is Cirque du Soleil’s second collaboration with acclaimed theatre and film director Robert Lepage following KA at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas which has just celebrated its ninth anniversary.
