Arts Thursday 9 October 2014, with Maisy Stapleton, explored the vibrant and joyous world of Lucy Culliton whose survey exhibition Eye of the Beholder is showing at Mosman Art Gallery until the end of November. First up in the program, Assistant Director and Senior Curator Katrina Cashman, contextualises Lucy’s work and approach and tells us why this relatively young artist merits a survey show. Then we met Lucy herself, and took a walk around the exhibition. Her comments reveal both her dedication and her delight and her joyful approach to art and life, as she creates beauty from the ordinary and everyday.
