Being just back from the annual National Northern Soul weekender in Brisbane and recovered from the shenanigans there, I realized that some of my favorite local gigs are coming up. November looks like a busy month with the first station being Get Up at the Cafe Lounge on the 14th where I will share the decks with my friend Marco Codato aka Soulbrew for some Disco and Funk. A week later on Saturday the 22nd it’s time again for Radio Eastside’s Black Gold Record Fair where I will use the time when I’m not spinning some tunes for the fellow vinyl aficionados to search those crates for hidden gems to stock up my collection. This is my favorite Eastside gig – this time happening in the great Civic Hotel corner Pitt and Goulburn Street. Speaking of iconic Hotels, my last station in November is on the 29th at the Hollywood Hotel in Surry Hills, headquarter of the fantastic Motion nights celebrating primarily Disco, Modern and 70s Northern Soul and maybe secondarily my birthday. What a month ahead, hope to see you somewhere on the way!
