Artist, Harley Oliver joined Dr Margaux Dombkins on Arts Monday to discuss ‘Inappropriate Nudity’ an exhibition which challenges expectations, exploring nudity in unexpected situations.

“I’m interested in what happens when the nude is painted slightly out of its usual context. The nude becomes naked.

Harley’s collection includes provocative and striking paintings of today’s celebrities, early explorers, 1930’s beach-goers, and the Queen of England.

“Inappropriate Nudity”: 29th October to November 22nd, 2014

Stanley Street Gallery, 1/52-54 Stanley Street Darlinghurst
