Bliss Jensen will be joining me in the studio as usual at 9:45 am for Now Showing and at 10:10 am I will be very pleased to welcome back Ed Lippmann and a new series of Sydney By Design. Since Ed now splits his time between Sydney and Shanghai, recording this series will have its challenges!

My special guest this week is Mathieu Ravier, Director of the Young at Heart Film Festival, due to open this week. What makes a film festival suitable for seniors? How were the films selected and why? These questions and many more are what I will be asking Mathieu. I really look forward to our conversation.

Music this week will be music from the movies – some from the films being screened at the Young at Heart Festival – and others from various favourites.
