Become a Guardian Angel for a Child-Headed Family

You may not believe you have a Guardian Angel, but you could be one for somebody who really needs it.

The ‘Guardian Angel Dinner’ arranged by ‘This Life Foundation’, a charity founded by Mercy Akon, is a way to become somebody’s angel. This Life Foundation invites you to support child-headed families in Northern Uganda, and orphaned African children living in Australia. The money raised from the dinner goes to these families, helping them enjoying a better Christmas.

One of the main aims of the foundation is to draw Australians’ attention to issues affecting the development of Africa, as well as to encourage and mentor young people of potential into becoming responsible leaders. We want to give African-Australians the same chances, and Christmas is a perfect occasion to think about supporting others who really need help.

Christmas is one of the biggest annual celebrations in Uganda. As we celebrate with families during the festive season, there are ways to make the occasion a little bit happier for children whose parents were taken from them.
