A Sydney Scouser!!

Hello Australia and beyond!

I am the new intern here at Eastside FM.

My name is Gaby Byrne and I have just arrived fresh from the drizzly streets of Liverpool, England! Maybe not so fresh at the moment, as I am slightly dazed by the nightmare that is jet lag. However, I am enthusiastic nonetheless.

I am a big believer in first impressions and my impressions of Eastside have been nothing but positive. I see my time at Eastside bubbling with potential and productivity.

I am extremely excited to be part of such a vibrant community with the opportunity to meet so many specialists in the world of music and arts.

I am a keen thespian myself. In the past I have been involved in many of Shakespeare’s plays as well as the occasional Greek tragedy. Drama and theatre are a real passion of mine and I am thoroughly looking forward to immersing myself in what Sydney has to offer.

Something that is a big part of my life is running. I love plugging into my music and setting off wherever and whenever. I completed my first marathon last year and I am hoping to run another at the end of this year. So look out for me winding around the streets of Sydney.
