I am very happy to be back with Arts Wednesday for 2015. In the first half hour of this week’s show we continue with Shakespeare in Love with Anna Kameralli and this week in Part 5, Anna talks about the poems.

At 11:00 am my special guest is Dr Ida Lichter, making a welcome return to Arts Wednesday. Ida is a passionate supporter of oppressed Muslim women and  an equally passionate supporter of Muslim women who stand up to oppression. Her latest publication is entitled The Islamic Veil: Unmasking the Stakeholders and this is the topic of our conversation.

It is timely – and also entirely coincidental – that our conversation happens right now, but in the spirit of Je Suis Charlie, all music today will be French.
