Meet Nicola Our New Intern

Hi everyone,

My name is Nicola and I am the new intern of Eastside Radio!

I arrived in Sydney on Friday, so everything here is new for me and I’ve spent the last few days to experience this great city!

My hometown is Munich in Germany where I live with my family and my younger sister since I’ve been born. One of my favourite hobbies is travelling, so I always wanted to come to Australia, especially to Sydney to make a living here for a few months. It´s absolutely great to see how different these two countries are, but I love Sydney already!!!

Also, I´m interested in music, meeting friends, playing volleyball and doing ballroom dancing. My favourite dancing jazz song is from Jamie Cullum “Don´t you know” Give it a listen:

Next October I’ll be back in Germany studying media, so doing an internship at Eastside is my first step in this direction. Working here is so much fun! People are so friendly. I already enjoy this great time!
