Good Medicine!
Join Arts Thursday, 23 April 2015, for stories about the positive impact of the arts on health and well-being.
The focus of the program is the expanded Arts and Dementia Program at the Art Gallery of NSW and I speak to Danielle Gulotta, Program Coordinator of Access Programs at the Gallery, who explains how the Gallery is opening up works in its collections for special, supported viewing by people with dementia and their carers.
To give insight into the bigger picture of arts and health in Australia, we are joined by Deborah Mills, a distinguished arts consultant and author of many works on the benefits of the arts to community health and well-being. Deb will also give background on the National Arts and Health Framework and the work of the Institute for Creative Health.
