Jazz made in Australia – Program for Monday, the 27th of July 2015

The philosophy of Jazz Made in Aust. is that if it is played here then it is made here, which I´m happy to play music of, and tell you about international performers who may be visiting and touring here. It doesn´t have to be a famous musician either it may be someone you´ve never heard before – Like a young trio from Finland called Australian Northern Europe Liasons who, I might add, promote Australian artists in to Europe as well.

Herd Trio is considered one of the new breed of forward thinking ensembles in Scandinavia and in 2011 Herd was awarded first prize at the `European Jazz Competition´ at Holland´s North Sea Jazz Festival.

They are performing here in a number of locations and full details will be given during the program.

The Herd Trio are

Vibes: Panu Savolainen
