Last week we brought you a quick guide to Christmas Carol events in Sydney this festive season, so we thought we’d keep the Christmas cheer going with another post on the best Christmas Markets and activities going on all over Sydney this December.
Christmas Fare: Artisan Food Gifts
For one night only, the Hyde Park Barrack Museum in Queens Square will open its doors to a Christmas Fare featuring a lovely array of hand crafted artisan produce, food and crafts for your 2015 Christmas season.
The fare will featured create-your-own gourmet food hampers, premium hand-made produce and artisan wares made just for your Christmas table.
Enjoy a free museum entry, a festive drink at Young Henry’s pop up bar, a bit to eat at one of the premium ready-to-eat food stalls and live entertainment by local talent.
The Christmas Fare is being held at the Hyde Park Barracks Museum on Macquarie Street on Thursday the 17th of December from 4pm to 9pm.
Christmas at Glebe Markets
The Glebe markets are not a new thing on in Sydney, but they are participating in this years Christmas celebrations by holding a special Christmas Market in December each Saturday (besides Boxing Day).
Here you will find a collection of crafts, hand made soaps, leather bound journals, living gifts and fair trade creations all made to fill your present stockings this year. Of course all your regular stalls will be there as well selling your favourite market specials.
Christmas Night Market @ Paddington Markets
So many markets going on in Sydney, but something about Paddington Markets make them a little bit more special. This year they will be holding their own Christmas Market at the Paddington Uniting Church where they will be selling items by local designers who have made unique, handcrafted gifts perfect for the person who enjoys the personal touch with their Christmas presents.
