NSW Minister for Trade, Tourism and Major Events and Minister for Sport, Stuart Ayres said the 2016 GENERAL PANTS BOWL-A-RAMA promises to be the biggest yet, as it showcases the very best of Bondi Beach in summer.

“I am pleased to see BOWL-A-RAMA back at Bondi for another year, proudly supported by the NSW Government through its tourism and major events agency, Destination NSW. Since the event began in 2005, it has gone from strength to strength, and 2016 promises to be even bigger, thanks to an incredible line-up of skateboarders and several exciting new features. It truly is a must-see event for any adrenaline sports fan,” Mr Ayres said.

The 2016 event has found leading Australian fashion retailer General Pants Co. as naming rights sponsor. The global trend hunters have thrown their support behind this year’s BOWL-A-RAMA to ensure the event continues to go from strength to strength.

As the largest gathering of pro skateboarders in the Southern Hemisphere, GENERAL PANTS BOWL-A-RAMA 2016 will ensure fans get closer to the action than ever before. To guarantee spectators get the best view possible, the layout has been changed with the introduction of a new 1,250 seat stadium. Able accommodate up to 5,000 fans over the course of the weekend, the stadium features a large Hill Stand for session ticket holders and expanded Car Park Stand for all day ticket holders.
