Urban Offbeat
Urban Yoga is set to challenge everything you thought you knew about the practice, and bring yoga into the 21st century when it teams up with local DJ Demi Bryant for Urban Offbeat.
Forget the typical yoga soundtrack, you’ll be transitioning from lotus to downward dog to the propulsive sounds of deep house. This combined with a larger than life screen projecting synchronised visuals makes Urban Offbeat a multisensory experience that looks, feels and sounds better.
Urban Yoga is a multisensory experience, where all elements are of equal importance. The music, the visuals and the poses are designed to transport you from the mat and your mind so you can disconnect from the urban world and reconnect with yourself.

Queen Bette
This one-woman show retraces the remarkable steps of a true movie legend, from fledgling stage actress via an unrivalled glittering movie career that also saw her battling the studios in an unprecedented attempt to gain independence as an artist.
In an intimate cabaret style, Queen Bette follows her incredible life and makes reference to many of her most famous screen roles – in particular her fascination with Queen Elizabeth I (whom she played twice in 2 different movies). Davis fought hard all her life, had 4 husbands, 2 Oscars and a reputation as the biggest bitch in Hollywood. Queen Bette tells the whole story.
Acclaimed actress Jeanette Cronin (Holding the Man, The Boys, Parramatta Girls, Dark Voyager) returns to the role she was born to play.

In conversation: Embassy of Disappearance
Artists Lee Mingwei, Jamie North and others exhibiting at the Embassy of Disappearance discuss themes of absence, memory, and the economic realities of a world marked by rapid change and neoliberalist agendas.
While disappearance is often keenly felt as loss – from extinct languages, to fading histories and vanishing landscapes – this discussion tests the idea that disappearance might also have a more positive and generative power.
