Vaudevillia – A 21st Century Recreation of Vaudeville Theatre
Back by very popular demand, Mic Conway’s National Junk Band presents the third edition of their fabulous new show “Vaudevillia”. Yet again “Everything new will be old again!” with new guests, fresh tunes, and some very well-honed one liners and magical happenings.
The show is based on the old Vaudeville program, originally from Paris, that became popular in the 19th century and intermingles segments of music, magic, dance, comedy, sight acts and more. As a 21st Century recreation of Vaudeville atmosphere and charm, the Junk Band have created a recipe for mirth, mayhem and madness, with special guests as stunning and startling additions to the bizarre and prodigious talents exhibited by members of the Junk Band.
The show’s special guests are the extraordinary tap dancer Glenn Wood and the spiffy circus juggler Rosalita Ole. Rosalita is the daughter of the great Ole Circus Family and brings you as much talent as she can fit into one tiny stage. Hold your breath, and let Rosalita hold your heart, as she tickles your sides with bogus fortunes, dazzling hat tricks and daring hula hoop stunts.
