Jazz Record Fair @ Foundry 616

As part of the Festival Fair Day on the last day of the Sydney Women’s International Jazz Festival, Foundry 616 (at 616 Harris St Ultimo) will host a Jazz Record Fair from midday to 4pm. The Fair coincides with some great free music on the nearby Goodsline which will see a roving group of musicians, playing in the in the amphitheatre and surrounds. Come along and check out lots of great jazz (and world music/blues/soul etc/) vinyl albums and CDs for sale. With the resurgence of interest in vinyl there’s bound to be lots of good old analogue pressings for sale from a variety of vendors. If you have some unwanted albums the organizers invite you to book a table for the afternoon. Musicians participating in the Festival will also be encourage do have their CDs on sale.

If you would like to book a table or tables, please do so prior to Friday 11 November be emailing – gm@sima.org.au. Tables are 60cm square and priced from $10. The Fair is a great opportunity for jazz fans to mix with other ‘crate diggers’ and record buffs and enjoy some great live music outside on the historic Goodsline. Entry to the Fair is free.
