Bandaluzia Flamenco & Naike Ponce

Bandaluzia Flamenco, whose unique characteristic is the knowledge and experience to deliver virtuosic flamenco dance, music and rhythm and the ability to conjure up it’s distinctive emotion, together with the blending of the rich harmonies and explosive improvisations of Jazz. The ensemble is also revered for it’s ability to combine within this the exotic melodies of the Orient and the infectious rhythms of South America.

Naike Ponce, born in Sanlucar de Barrameda, Spain, acclaimed flamenco singer Naike Ponce has performed internationally with major flamenco companys, where she has been able to work with world-renowned music greats. Recent artistic projects include her debut album ‘Con Nombres De Mujer’ alongside legendary guitarist and Grammy winner Jose Suarez Paquete, with the collaboration of Raimundo Amador, Tomatito and Piraña, among others.

Featuring: Damian Wright (flamenco guitar), Naike Ponce (flamenco singer), Jessica Statham (flamenco dance), Rosalie Cocchiaro (flamenco dance), Ben Hauptmann (guitars) & James Hauptmann (percussion).
