Please join me to share the aloha (love and energy) of Hawai’i’s music on Armchair Traveller, June 30th from 11.30 – noon.

Hawai’i’s islands are well known for their beauty, much of which transcends instantly through the music of Hawai’i.

I have returned from Honolulu, Hawai’i where I attended the inaugural Na Hoku O Hawai’i Music Festival –  a 3 day event containing workshops, classes and music performances across Waikiki, culminating with a celebration of music by awarding Hawaii’s finest musicians at the Na Hoku Hanhano Awards Show.

If you have limited time to visit the islands I highly recommend visiting during one of Hawai’i’s many vibrant festivals and especially during the Na Hoku O Hawai’i music festival. Not only will you be mesmerized by slack-key guitar, magical melodies and heavenly harmonies, you’ll be able to get up close and personal with famous Hawaiian artists, like I did, to discover the true Hawai’i, which is in it’s people and shared through the music.
