The Travelling Sisters are Lucy Fox, Laura Trenerry and Ell Sachs. They are a comedy trio from Brisbane, Australia. Combining physical comedy, contemporary clown and original music, the trio conjure up bizarre worlds of tragically charming characters. They tread the line between the beautiful and the grotesque, the idiotic and the profound, the whimsical and the downright ridiculous. MATILDA LANGFORD
“It took three days of being stuck before Matilda Langford was born, and she’s taken her time with everything since. She writes about Australia, family and contemporary Aboriginality. Being born in Y2K, means she don’t remember 9/11 and the song ‘Oops I did it Again’ is older than her. Matilda has performed her work for Bundanon Trust’s TRANSMIT events, she’s won the Sydney University Slam Competition and has been published on A*Star.tv, an Indigenous led online magazine.”
