“Diamond Duck” are James Daley (mandolin) and Brian Campeau (acoustic guitar) joined Cathy Kirkpatrick in the Eastside studio this week, for “The Last Waltz”, performing songs live “Enemy of Reason” and “Middle of a Song” from their debut EP.
Usually a duo, this performance will feature some very special guests including, Oliver Miller on Cello, Vanessa Tammetta on Violin, Gary Daley on Accordion and Azz Woo on vocals.
Opening the night will the be the incredible “Bonniesongs”: Bonnie Stewert’s solo project. Her sweet ethereal vocals sail over the polyrhythmic backgrounds created between her guitar, percussion and vocal loops have been compared to artists such as Bjork and Joanna Newsom.
