Olympian Sally Kehoe on Crossing the Line, Tuesday 24 July
Sally Kehoe was introduced to rowing at the age of 14 while at a boarding school in Brisbane. Seven years later she made her Olympics debut at the 2008 Beijing Olympics. She would go on to represent Australia in another two Olympics, at London 2012 and Rio 2016. Sally has also achieved a silver and two bronze medals at the Rowing World Championships. Along with Olympia Aldersey, she posted a world record time in double sculls at the 2o14 World Rowing Championships.
Throughout her rowing career, Sally has been studying at university. In 2016, she completed her Masters in International Finance, Economics and Risk Management, and now works for Macquarie Group as a Wholesale Credit Analyst.
Sally chats to GT about growing up in a high-achieving family, competing at three Olympic Games and what she would tell her 12-year-old self.
