Winter Garden
Inspired by the winter markets of Europe, the East Village Sydney rooftop has been styled to perfection. There’ll be thousands of fairy lights, luxe lambswool throws and a fireplace to keep patrons cozy on crisp winter nights.
The Winter Garden launch menu includes a Fancy Soup – a minestrone with root vegetables poured at the table, a München Brat-Dog – bratwurst with jack cheddar, dill pickles, sauerkraut, mustard and ketchup, brioche bun topped with crushed pretzels; as well as a traditional single-serve Beef Wellington also been recently updated.
Winter-warming drinks include a traditional Gluhwein and mulled cider, a Hot Toddy made with Chivas 18 and a Smoked Old Fashioned which is a reinvented classic consisting of Chivas 12 Jameson Black Barrel, Santis Malt Alpine Whiskey, bitters, sugar and smoke.

Cry-Baby
It’s 1954. Everyone likes Ike, nobody likes communism and Wade “Cry-Baby” Walker is the coolest boy in Baltimore. He’s a bad boy with a good cause – truth, justice and the pursuit of rock and roll. Cry-Baby and the square rich girl, Allison, are star-crossed lovers at the centre of this world. Fuelled by hormones and the new rhythms of rock and roll, she turns her back on her squeaky-clean boyfriend, Baldwin, to become a “drape” (a Baltimore juvenile delinquent) and Cry-Baby’s girl. At the other end of the topsy-turvy moral meritocracy of 1954 America, Baldwin is the king of the squares and leads his close-harmony pals against the juvenile delinquents.
Featuring a delightfully ridiculous book from the writer of Hairspray and a rip-roaring score. The wild titles include Can I Kiss You With Tongue? and Sucks to be a Square. Cry-Baby is a one off, strange and endearing musical.
Cry-Baby is based on the 1990 cult-classic John Waters film of the same name, which starred Johnny Depp.

Printing the Future: Innovations in 3D printing
Join this team of experts as they discuss the future applications of 3D printing (or additive manufacturing). They’ll explore not only the absolute latest in new technologies, but also how these technologies are used across manufacturing, business and solo practice.
Speakers will discuss their own research and design work, while contextualising it within the field of 3D printing, with a particular focus on how these technologies relate to design, ceramics, jewellery, fashion and architecture.
At the same event, we also launch a new publication 3D Printing the Future that explores the very latest advances by designers both in Australia and worldwide. The work is written by some of Australia’s leading authorities in 3D printing and design.
