Vincent Gardner & Belinda Munro Gardner Quintet (USA), TUESDAY 4 SEPTEMBER: Award-winning trombonist and Jazz at Lincoln Centre educator Vincent Gardner and his dynamic partner and vocalist Belinda Munro Gardner return to Foundry616 to perform a tribute to the late Natalie Cole.

Pezcobar, THURSDAY 6 SEPTEMBER: Known for their soulful melodies, energetic performance and sharp jazz improvisation Pezcobar have swiftly attracted a growing audience. They return to Foundry616 before entering the studio to record their first EP.

Champian Fulton (USA), FRIDAY 7 SEPTEMBER & SATURDAY 8 SEPTEMBER: Regarded by many as a “the most gifted pure Jazz singer of her generation,” Oklahoma born pianist/vocalist Champian Fulton will be performing two consecutive nights at Foundry616 alongside renowned drummer Andrew Dickeson and bassist Ashley Turner.

Sydney Conservatorium Jazz Orchestra Residency, WEDNESDAY 12, 19 and 26 SEPTEMBER: Conducted by big-band specialist David Theak,  the Sydney Con Jazz Orchestra present a glimpse of the stars of tomorrow, today. Don’t miss this rare opportunity to hear them in the club in a three-night special series at Foundry616.

The Andy Sugg Group, THURSDAY 13 SEPTEMBER: Andy Sugg is a leading Australian saxophonist who has been described as “Brilliant, sparking, strongly surging” by the Sydney Morning Herald. Andy premiers his latest album, Tenorness at Foundry 616 alongside New Zealand drummer Mark Lockett.

Billie Holiday Tribute Show, FRIDAY 14 SEPTEMBER: The Rodric White Septet featuring Lana Nesnas will perform an exciting evening of music celebrating the legacy of Billie Holiday. Bookings recommended.

Phillip Johnston and The Coolerators, THURSDAY 20 SEPTEMBER: Led by outstanding saxophonist and New-Yorker Phillip Johnston and uniting two of Australia’s most internationally acclaimed musicians in Alister Spence and Lloyd Swanton, The Coolerators present a unique style of jazz that is smooth & eloquent with a splattering of all-class funk.

Evelyn Duprai & The Modern Classics, FRIDAY 21 SEPTEMBER: Evelyn Duprai and The Modern Classics will be putting a new twist on well-known jazz hits in a special Sydney Fringe Festival program.

Daniel Rojas – Orquesta La Luna Tango, SATURDAY 22 SEPTEMBER: Led by acclaimed South American/Australian pianist and composer Daniel Rojas, these five extraordinary musicians deliver a passionate, uncompromising performance of the finest tango repertoire.
