Tickets are now on sale for the
HO’OLAULEA O HAWAII : CELEBRATION OF HAWAII DINNER
to raise funds for the Na Mea Kane Hula O Molokai ‘Men of Molokai’.
For the first time ever 3 generations of Hawaiian Halau Lineage 49th, 50th & 51st
will be in Australia at this special Fundraising Dinner.
Anakala Pilipo Solatorio & Lawrence Aki along with his haumana Kawika Foster will be our special guests.
Joining them will be one of Anakala Pilipo’s haumana, Josh Pastrana along with two well respected Hawaiian Elders & performers of the Hawaiian arts of Hula & Mele from Molokai – DJ Pelekai & Aunty Julia Hoe.
Greg Mills, a Musical Director/Composer with over 30 years experience in television & the music industry
will be our MC for the evening.
Evening Program includes:
• Short Film presentation by PF Bentley with Anakala Pilipo
• Opening Protocol Ceremony with Na Mea Kane Hula O Molokai (Men of Molokai).
• Hula Kahiko- ancient Hula.
• Talk story by Anakala Pilipo and Lawrence.
• Hawaiian music and Auana (modern) hula throughout the evening.
• Auction, raffle and door prizes.
• 3 course dinner including wine, soft drink and tea & coffee
