By way of introduction, I am Wally’s nephew. I visited Sydney several times and was very close to my uncle, I wrote the this article in the UK Guardian newspaper https://www.guardian.co.uk/theguardian/2012/jan/29/wally-wrightman-obituary that you may have seen. I know Eastside radio has been extremely supportive to Jacqueline in Sydney and Wally’s family in the UK took great comfort from the messages posted on your website. We are holding a small service in North London on Tuesday 11 September to lay Wally’s ashes to rest. Just in case any of your listeners or people who knew Wally happen to be London would it be possible for you to advertise the details as below, perhaps by adding to your website or making an announcement.
