With the first mentions of it in the mid-16th century, Brazilian music has evolved over time adding influences from Native American rituals to the introduction of African instruments in the 17th century. The genre encompasses many different genres including Samba, Funk, Bossa Nova and strands of Rap. With such a wide and varied scope, it’d be pretty difficult for you not to find something you love under the broad umbrella that is Brazillian music.
