Ahmet Ertegun(pic.left with Ray Charles) left us the legacy of Atlantic Records…inspirational individual loved by his artists and the entertainment industry -pioneered black artists recordings at a time when no one would be seen at a show that featured them and went on to build a label synonymous with Soul,Blues,Jazz and Pop…..’The House That Ahmet Built-The Atlantic Records Story’,is a DVD well worth the viewing!!!!! and I look forward to the new album by Chris Botti(pic.right) with his group featuring one of the best drummers in the business-Billy Kilson…..and vocalist Lisa Fisher…..all to come during 2012…enjoy the music on my show and at EastsideFM.
