A Taste of Honey 29 March 2012
So I went to this amazing 70’s party on Saturday and everyone dressed up…I met more than one of my listeners so now the pressure is really on to keep “The Tastes of Honey” happening every week …harder to programme with knowledge of who is listening when you know them!!!!And this week from New Zealand, the wonderfully talented Whirimako Black(pic.left) singing ‘Misty’ in Maori….more to come of this proud,Talented Kiwi!!! and a self penned track from one of my favourite multicultural groups – the talented Pink Martini(China Forbes and Thomas Lauderdale pic.right)…and more great songs, great performances(and if that ISN’T THE ESSENCE OF MUSIC,I DON’T KNOW WHAT IS)- spearheaded in memoriam by The Monkees featuring Davy Jones……….
