A Taste Of Honey April 18 2013

 The anniversary of John Denver’s (lft)birthday was on December 31st 2012 (he would have been 70)and to celebrate a life, a group of current independent artistes on Dave Mathews ATO Records label recorded a tribute album of his songs. I am pleased to be able to say that these new versions just released have kept the integrity of this gifted singer,songwriter,performer and humanitarian alive and intact.In 2002,I had the pleasureable  task of making an album and a TV documentary on John’s life  entitled “A Song’s Best Friend”   which was one of the hilites of my working career.In addition on todays show,there are some great songs by singer/songwriters Paul Williams,Sarah McLachlan(pic.rt)and Rufus Wainwright in the mix with some big band grooves from Glenn Miller and the very amicable and talented Jools Holland.GREAT  TASTES  OF HONEY!!!!
