“ITS MUSIC,AND I LIKE IT”…Miles Davis on ‘Sketches of Spain’ and he was right..IT IS ALL ABOUT THE MUSIC…….credit to the wonderful Tony Bennett for a great Opera House performance last week and I have included for of the key songs in his career and from his song list that night……and a couple of Latin tracks from the exotic brazilian singer/songwriter Gal Costa(pic.left) and a self penned track recorded live from Rodrigo y Gabriela(pic.right).Some great arrangements on standards from Frank Sinatra and Nat ‘King’Cole….amazing he sings French so well when he did not speak any foreign language……and a trio of April songs for your pleasure….how good is ‘Pieces of April’?………..and into May with EastsideFM…………….Stu
