A Taste Of Honey Feb 23 2012

Two iconic images(shown) from classic films noir and themes to match(and both by Elmer Bernstein) for the second part of songs from movies programmes featuring award winners and just great songs and wonderful memories…… very difficult to go past “High Society” and Q: How do you not include a James Bond movie song ?……….A:You can’t! Two programmes over two weeks do not do justice to the all the film music composed over the years…..I have chosen the tracks for the quality, the awards, the memories they bring back from my life of watching, listening, enjoying them in the past and finding them all over again. And the non winners are just as good !!!If I had to pick one track this week as a KEEPER,the Francis Albert Sinatra version of ‘Three Coins in The Fountain ‘ is definitely it ! Enjoy the music as always…drop me a note at stuart@eastsidefm.org.
