A Taste Of Honey July 5th 2012

The DUETS programme-just something a little different today-still song based because not all songs are “duet-able”-so I did some searching from classic tracks such as Dean Martin and Nat Cole having fun with ‘Open Up The Doghouse’ to Tony B and Amy W(pic right) nailing ‘Body and Soul’-these tracks on  today’s playlist  are not just duets for the sake of production but are renditions that the partcipants are totally immersed in -the chemistry between the performers and the songs is REAL-Coltrane and Hartman  -Fred and Ginger-did they enjoy their partnership-HELL YES!!-Adderly and Evans,Laine and Torme,Carter and Jones,Flack and Hathaway,Holiday and Armstrong,Sinatra and Bailey,Joe Sample and Lalah Hathaway  ………..DUETS FOR A LIFETIME AND MORE…….having fun with music just for you….enjoy,Stuart.
