A Taste Of Honey May 9 2013

carole:vanity fairrose clooneyFinally a  selection of Rosemary Clooney’s(pic right)best songs from her Columbia years selected and produced by Michael Feinstein on the album ‘Jazz Singer’.Only the legendary Carole King (pic.left)could sustain a release of her catalogue material starting with ‘The Legendary Demos’ package and one can not only hear her passion in these early sessions but more importantly witness the strength of her writing when these songs were re-imagined by artistes such as Bobby Vee and The Everly Brothers when they created global hits with her songs.Plus a few “little ditties” to finish the show ,written by Cole Porter ,Duke Ellington/Irving Mills,Irving Berlin and imagined by the likes of Eric Clapton,Paul Weller & Jools Holland and the talent of Jose Feliciano.
