A Taste Of Honey November 13 2014

  It is  my very great pleasure this week to have Rob E Thomas as my guest.Together we will be  discussing his impressive career in entertainment and playing tracks from his new album ‘Who   Am I?’.His choice of songs includes compositions from HJimmy Webb, Richard Rodgers &  Lorenz Hart, Burt Bacharach and Hal David, David Gates,Robert Lamm(of the group   Chicago), Paul Williams, Michael Franks, Holland-Dozier-Holland, Jackie Trent & Tony Hatch  and Jerome Kern & Dorothy Fields.
Rob has executive produced a fine album with the help of some amazing musicians lead by the  wonderfully talented pianist Dave MacRae.
It is a pleasure to hear these great songs interpreted by singers such as Rob Thomas and produced and played by the talented group of producers,engineers and musicians he has brought together.

I listen to a massive amount of music from many and varied sources and every once in a while a project really resonates  with me and enthuses me based on the performances of the artist, the musicians, the songs and the production.In my opinion this album ‘Who Am I ?’, is one of those projects and it sounds like a work of love as only these songs deserve -its the  complete package – I hope you like it as much as I do !
